This is the first event of our new season.

This 1-hour continuing education course explores the evidence-based foundations of essential self-care and growth practices, such as setting SMART goals, building trust in oneself, practicing gratitude, and fostering connection. Participants will learn the science behind key habits like embracing vulnerability, expressing safety and boundaries, and engaging in reflective practices such as journaling and team debriefing. Drawing from established psychological frameworks and recent research, this course offers actionable insights into enhancing mental health, resilience, and well-being. Attendees will leave with strategies to apply these practices personally and professionally to foster self-awareness, emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of purpose.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify the scientific basis for core self-care and resilience practices, including acceptance, gratitude, and goal-setting.
  2. Explain how trust, curiosity, and connection contribute to personal and professional growth.
