Eternal Marriage is one of the leading doctrines of the LDS church. Joseph Smith also touched on this subject. We do not discuss in detail whether Joseph Smith practiced polygamy and eternal marriage or not but rather look at what the scriptures actually say about marriage and it's purpose. Included is a brief history of Jewish or Hebrew marriage traditions and how they relate to scripture as well as Restoration history and how the idea of Eternal Marriage was introduced. Finally we look at the purpose of marriage at about the 1 hour mark.
