「成人は18歳に下がったのに、なぜお酒は20歳から？」という、日本大学の学生さんの質問に答えて頂くのは、日本大学法学部・法律学科の加藤雅之教授。まず、加藤先生が訂正されたのは、18歳に下がったのは「成人」ではなく「成年」の年齢。実は法律の世界において、人は「未成年」と「成年」に区別されるため、「成人」と言う概念は法律上はないんだそうです。それにしてもなぜ、その成年年齢が20歳から18歳に引き下げられたのでしょう？
