  • Ep. 9 - 30 And...Working to Live, or Living to Work?
    May 23 2023

In this episode we tackle one of life's age old questions....what in the heck am I doing with my life?

As two 30-somethings who are out in the working world, we explore what happens when our desire to live our purpose, butts up against our values around finances. First we jump into the lessons we learned in the pizza shops and ice-cream parlors working as kids – grit, resilience, and discipline. Those core skills and teachable moments showed us how important hard work is, but also highlighted some of our deep rooted anxieties. Some days we just wanted to be *Broadway stars*, other days we want to take on the corporate world with a hammer. But taking risks, finding good mentors, and picking ourselves up after failure have helped us take steps in the right direction towards our goals. We ask the tough question, what do you value more? Time or money? And do you have to pick between the two? Join us on this convo about ye olde paper chase. And here’s to hoping Brit makes her debut in Wicked soon

  • Ep. 8 - SH*T-uationships: The Pros and Cons of This Sinking Ship
    May 16 2023

For those not familiar with this term "situationship", it has become increasingly common. It's a relationship that lacks the definition of being an exclusive, committed partnership, AKA: friends with benefits.

On today's episode we are joined by a very special guest and one of Brit's former situationships, Justin. We get down and dirty (if you have virgin ears, beware) and gain a guy's perspective on situationships.

We question... A LOT. Actions: why doesn't a guy respond to you? how do you know if he likes you? Communication: do guys have feelings and do they express them like women? Where do you meet people to date? Do guys go out looking specifically for a hookup? When is a good time to have "the talk"?

Come out to this picnic as we grill Justin like veggies on a kabob, share laughs, but get real on the differences of being in a situationship, relationship, or a pirate ship 🏴‍☠️\
