今天的经文选自马太福音17:1-13。这里说耶稣带着彼得、雅各和约翰三位门徒上了高山。那里发生了奇妙的事情。耶稣的衣裳洁白如光,同时完全变了形像。耶稣与摩西、以利亚交谈。彼得看见,朦胧地说:“让我们搭三座棚,一座为你,一座为摩西,一座为以利亚。我们要搭三座棚,生活在你身边。”这时一朵云彩庶住了天空,有声音从云彩里说:“这是我的爱子,我所喜悦的。你们要听他!”
彼得、雅各及其兄弟约翰和耶稣一起登上山,当他们到达山顶,耶稣突然变形,以利亚和摩西下来和他交谈。忽然天空被彩云遮住,有声音说:“这是我的爱子,我所喜悦的。你们要听他!”你们可以想像那是何等神秘的景象啊。那么,为什么耶稣要向门徒显现这样的情景呢?耶稣让他们看到他与以利亚、摩西交谈的情景,但这件事情有什么意义?
