今天的經文選自馬太福音17:1-13。這裏說耶穌帶著彼得、雅各和約翰三位門徒上了高山。那裏發生了奇妙的事情。耶穌的衣裳潔白如光,同時完全變了形像。耶穌與摩西、以利亞交談。彼得看見,朦朧地說:“讓我們搭三座棚,一座為你,一座為摩西,一座為以利亞。我們要搭三座棚,生活在你身邊。”這時一朵雲彩庶住了天空,有聲音從雲彩裏說:“這是我的愛子,我所喜悅的。你們要聽他!”
彼得、雅各及其兄弟約翰和耶穌一起登上山,當他們到達山頂,耶穌突然變形,以利亞和摩西下來和他交談。忽然天空被彩雲遮住,有聲音說:“這是我的愛子,我所喜悅的。你們要聽他!”你們可以想像那是何等神秘的景象啊。那麼,為什麼耶穌要向門徒顯現這樣的情景呢?耶穌讓他們看到他與以利亞、摩西交談的情景,但這件事情有什麼意義?
