    Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Adam and Eve sinned and God's Holy Spirit was taken from them because God cannot dwell with sin. Jesus died on the Cross and rose again and paid our sin debt with his sinless blood. Without the shedding of blood there can be no remission of sin. Jesus then baptizes us with the Holy Ghost when we repent and believe the Gospel.
