We are bursting at the seams with news this week, with plenty going on to sink our teeth into. We do pause and mark the passing of the Prince of Darkness, however.

The movie under review for this episode is 2011's Paul, starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. But not, as Steff makes very clear, directed by Edgar Wright. Can he make peace with Greg Mottola at the helm, long enough to give an unbiased opinion? Certainly not!

It's another mixed bag for Last Chance Cinema this week, as the boys review the latest batch of departees from Prime.

But the biggest news is Hutch's bombshell that the podcast is going on holiday for four weeks, and it may not return looking entirely the same...

Star Wars updates abound this week as we cover the news that Papa George is attending his first ever Comic Con, and you too can own a slice of prop history (for the right coin). There’s also news on the latest instalments in the Mortal Kombat and Tron franchises.

Then it’s onto our main event, a review of Keanu resurrection vehicle John Wick. Plenty of bang for your buck guaranteed, but is it a case of style over substance?

It’s time for Last Chance Cinema Club after that, with six movies in the offering this time, before Hutch selects next week’s movie pick.

Another sad passing to mark this week, as we salute the Admiral Piett actor for the final time.

We then roundup all the TV we have and have not been watching lately. Plus there's a couple of stories about water, for... reasons.

Following that is our main event, and this week we are reviewing 1999's End of Days. Schwarzenegger vs The Devil! What's not to love? Well, a few things apparently.

The boys are back from holiday and can now regale us of their Croatian odyssey. In short, Hutch was mainly sat by the pool, but at least Steff took some culture in.

It’s also a bumper news week, as we discuss a couple of remakes of “beloved” movies and a new entry in a classic franchise. We also mark the sad passing of actor Michael Madsen.

It’s 2021’s Swan Song being reviewed this week, and after Steff figured out the right movie to watch, discussion can begin. Is it light on the sci-fi? Yes. But is it light on the thrills? Also yes. But there’s lots to enjoy as well.

We round off the week with our usual trip down Last Chance Cinema lane, before finishing with a jaunt along Picking Next Week’s Film To Review avenue.

This week's movie is 2012's DREDD. Certainly not to be confused with 1995's JUDGE DREDD, which we will barely be mentioning...

The boys have gone all trendy and modern this week, reviewing a cartoon movie that came out five minutes ago. It’s opened Hutch up to a whole new world, but Steff’s gammy eyes are stopping him from truly enjoying it.

From R rated content last time, to (sort of) X rated this week- Steff tells us all about his "entirely-for-research" visit to the burlesque Star Wars parody show currently touring the country.

To come down off all that excitement, we review 2009's Terminator Salvation. The franchise comprises of some excellent films (the first and second ones) and some real robo turds (everything else). But where abouts does this one sit in the oeuvre?
