Allerdings muss man jedes Bild, das einem beim Beruf “ArchitektIn” durch den Kopf schießt, sofort revidieren. Man könnte ihn als eine Art Open-Source-Architekten und -Designer bezeichnen: Seine Entwürfe teilt er mit “der Crowd”, und das sind alle, die mitmachen wollen – und lässt die Menschen selbst bauen und weiterentwickeln. Viele seiner Ideen lässt er auch durch die Crowd finanzieren. Bei seinen Projekten geht es unter anderem darum, Menschen mit wenig Geld in die Lage zu versetzen, sich gute Möbel (er nennt sie “Hartz4-Möbel”), Häuser (“Tiny Houses”) und fair produzierte Kleidung (“Karma Chakhs“) zu erschaffen oder zu crowdfunden. Eigentlich ist Van Bo Le-Metzel in erster Linie jemand, der Menschen Anschubser gibt, um selbstermächtig das eigene Potential auszuschöpfen. Echte Inklusion also.
