Αλεξάνδρας με μέση ωριαία ταχύτητα των οχημάτων στη διάρκεια της μέρας μόλις 8 χλμ. Τα τελευταία χρόνια, μετά την περίοδο του covid, η μέση ταχύτητα κυκλοφορίας στο κέντρο της Αθήνας μειώθηκε κατά 11% στις κύριες οδούς και κατά 17% στις δευτερεύουσες. Από την άλλη, ο Έλληνες οδηγοί δεν φημίζονται για την καλή οδική τους συμπεριφορά.
