About this listen
From 1985 to 2020, there was a vibrant prison ministry at Sycamore View. For years, members went to countless correction facilities in Memphis to study the Bible, worship, and just share life together. In this 50 for 50 podcast episode, Anna Moser talks with two of the pillars of that ministry: Stoney Ramsey and Carolyn Harris.
In 2028, Sycamore View Church will turn 50 years old, and we want to do this right. We want to use the next few years as a season of reflection and preparation: reflection concerning all God has done through this church and preparation for God’s future here. We want to be great story-tellers. So we’re launching what we’re calling “50 for 50.” Telling fifty stories. Over fifty months. Celebrating fifty years. At the beginning of every month until the spring of 2028, we will release a new story celebrating events, ministries, people, and risks, all in attempt to honor ways God has shaped and formed this church.Sycamore View is a community church based in Memphis, Tennessee.
