「まだありますよ。一酸化二窒素、｜N₂O。これはさらに強い温室効果を持つ気体です。」
そう教えてくれたのは|角皆 潤《つのがいうるむ》さん（環境学研究科 教授）。
温室効果気体N₂O、その発生源は、なんと「土壌」。
興味深いのは、雨が降るとN₂Oの発生量が増えるという事実。
その理由は、これまで分かっていませんでした。
角皆さんの研究グループは、この「雨とN₂O増加」のナゾに挑んでいます。
