『天然生活』『ESSE』など人気雑誌の編集長を歴任後、
出版社の役員を経て、去年3月に独立。
インスタグラムに投稿した保護犬の福ちゃんや闘病する奥様、
家族との絆のストーリーが話題となり、
2023年10月にそれらの内容をまとめた書籍
『妻が余命宣告されたとき、僕は保護犬を飼うことにした』を発表。
現在は、ウェブでの連載に
『とーさんの保護犬日記』『犬と猫と人間（僕）の徒然なる日常』、
パリのアーティスト、猫沢エミさんと生と死にまつわる往復書簡を綴る
『真夜中のパリから、夜明けの東京へ』などがあります。
