2015年4月～2016年3月までの1年間、毎週金曜日の深夜27時からレギュラー放送された『朝井リョウと加藤千恵のオールナイトニッポン0(ZERO)』。
作家の朝井リョウと歌人・小説家の加藤千恵の2人がパーソナリティを務め、作家ならではの視点が盛り込まれたコーナー、当時同時放送されていたNOTTVに注目するなど、オリジナリティ溢れるオールナイトニッポンを展開し、深夜リスナーから熱い支持を集めていた。2022年10月に6年半ぶりに一夜限りの復活を果たし、昨年9月にも特番が放送されたのに続き、3年連続での復活特番となる。
今回、1年ぶりに放送する番組では、2人の最近の出来事についてトークするほか、リスナーからも夏らしく「怖い話」を募集する。人間の怖い話、人外の怖い話、ジャンルは問わず募集し、紹介していく。また、レギュラー時代に行っていた“名作であることを予感させる小説の一行目”のみを募集するコーナー「国境の長いトンネルを抜けると…」も事前に募集を行う。
