اب آئیں ہم اِس معاملہ کی طرف توجہ کریں کہ اُٹھایا جانا کب واقع ہو گا۔کلامِ مقدس میں بہت سارے حوالہ جات ہیں جو اُٹھائے جانے کے بارے میں بات کرتے ہیں۔ نیا عہد نامہ بہت سارے حوالوں پر مشتمل ہے جواِس کا ذکر کرتے ہیں، اور اِسی طرح پرانا عہد نامہ ذکرکرتا ہے، جہاں ہم، مثال کے طور پر ایلیاہؔ کو دیکھ سکتے ہیں جو آ تشِین رتھ کے ساتھ آسمان پر چڑھ گیا، اور حنوکؔ جو خُداکے ساتھ چلا اور اُس کے ہاتھوں سے اُٹھا لیا گیا۔جس طرح دیکھا جا سکتا ہے، کلامِ مقدس بہت ساری جگہوں پر، اُٹھائے جانے کے بارے میں کلام کرتا ہے۔ اُٹھائے جانے کا مطلب ’ اوپر اُٹھنا ‘ ہے۔ یہ خُداکا اپنے لوگوں کو اپنی قدرت کے وسیلہ سے آسمان پر اُٹھانے کو بیان کرتا ہے۔
