Síðan fylgdi hvert meistarverkið í kjölfarið. Fimm neglur í röð sem gerðu Public Enemy að einni mikilævægustu og stærstu hipp hopp sveit sögunnar. En Public Enemy gerði annað og meira. Public Enemy var rödd. Mikilvæg rödd svartra, fátækra. Eitt risastórt andóf. Aggressív, hávær og sprúðlandi andstaða gegn kúgun og óréttæti.
