एकदा एका बगळ्याला म्हातारपणामुळे मासे पकडणे जमत नव्हते. त्याने माशांना खोटं सांगितलं की हा तलाव लवकरच भरला जाईल आणि दुसऱ्या तलावात नेतो म्हणाला. तो त्यांना नेऊन खाऊ लागला, पण हुशार खेकड्याने त्याची फसवणूक ओळखली. खेकड्याने बगळ्याला मारून सर्वांना वाचवले.
बोध: संकटात हुशारी आणि तत्पर विचार मोठ्या फसवणुकीवरही मात करू शकतात. ओळख नसलेल्या माणसावर लगेच विश्वास ठेवू नका, नेहमी विचार करा. हुशारीने वागल्यास संकटातून बचाव होतो.
Once there was a stork who grew old and could no longer catch fish. He tricked the fish by saying the tank would soon be filled and offered to carry them to another pond. But instead, he ate them one by one until a clever crab discovered the truth. The crab killed the stork and saved all the creatures from his deceit.
Moral: Clever thinking and presence of mind can defeat even the strongest deceiver. Never trust lies blindly, always think smart. Clever thinking can save you from danger.
