Nachdem sie sich für ein paar Wochen gegenseitig Gedichte zugeschickt haben, bringen Dana und Stefan ihre Funde aus dem lyrischen Werk von Mascha Kaléko zusammen. Dana fährt im Zug durch die biografischen Texte Kalékos, beobachtet aus dem Fenster aber auch kollierlose Giraffen. Stefan konfrontiert die Emigration und den Verlust im Leben der Lyrikerin und analysiert dabei die elegante Schlichtheit ihres Stils. Zwischen Verspieltheit, Ironie und Wehmut sowie angereichert durch die Vertonungen der Liedermacherin Dota Kehr nehmen beide sich vor, in Zukunft mehr Gedichte an Freunde zu schicken (s.o.).
