William Maanders (43) is (reis)fotograaf en een spiritueel mens. Als puber werd hij gepest vanwege zijn homoseksualiteit, waar hij op dat moment nog niet achter was. Op zijn 21e kwam hij uit de kast en leeft nu een gelukkig leven. Hij zal echter nooit kunnen accepteren dat een meerderheid van de wereldbevolking hem als homoseksueel, als LHBTI+'er, afwijst.
