Types of Email Tags:
- Context tags provide insights to the individual subscriber, like what interests they have.
- Action tags connect to a specific behavior, like a lead magnet download.
- Temporary tags can be used for short-term things, like watching a webinar for a launch.
Setting Up An Email Tagging System:
- Identify what tags you want for each type.
- Create a tagging structure (i.e. Category_Subcategory_Details or Action_Free Download_Social Guide)
- Add the tags to your email marketing system.
- Review your tags to ensure they stay relevant. Edit and merge as needed.
