Dr. Jesus Campos is a researcher at the Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) and a member of HCDE’s Institutional Review Board. Additionally, he serves as a principal evaluator for a $612,000 Civic Engagement Grant for HCDE, He also serves as an adjunct faculty member at The University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, where he teaches in the Criminology, Law, & Society Department. He received his Ph.D. in Administration of Justice from Texas Southern University and his undergraduate and master’s degrees in criminal justice from the University of Houston-Downtown. His research interest includes juvenile delinquency, school-based delinquency, immigration and crime and Latino/Hispanic issues in Criminal Justice.
