About this listen
In this episode Kelsey Spronk, ADHD mom and entrepreneur, explains how identifying and living by your core values can reduce overwhelm and bring more joy and purpose to life. She clearly differentiates self-care (survival), needs (thriving), and values (what makes you feel alive).
Kelsey uses a plant metaphor (soil = self-care, air, sunshine and rain = needs, lightning bolts = values) and offers practical questions and examples to help you choose 3–5 values that light you up, such as learning, creativity, or achievement.
She closes with simple action steps:
- Write down your values
- Brainstorm ways to incorporate them into daily life, and
- Prioritize meaningful goals to build confidence and a fuller cup to pour from.
