About this listen

At the start of this new series of EQUK Chat, ahead of the launch of Equine Qualifications UK CIC formally in October 2024, I give you a deep-dive into what EQUK is and how it benefits both equine education providers and anyone who wants to live, learn and work with horses.

www.equk.org is an education marketing platform which helps providers of equestrian qualifications advertise to a diverse audience in the UK and globally whilst reinvesting this into initiatives which supports access to equestrianism in groups currently under-represented within the sector. It does real, practical hands on work directing learners to the best course for them, supporting current staff to take the next steps in their career, and helps employers attract and retain employees.

EQUK provides an impartial support service either online or through delivery of in person workshops to support equestrian learners to find their future path or new ways to use their equestrian skills.

In this episode, I discuss the space that EQUK occupies online, the benefits to equine providers (everyone offering equestrian courses that were in Clearing this year, I am looking at you!), and more importantly, why and how EQUK fits into wider conversations around social licensing and accessibility within the sector in the current climate.

You can connect with EQUK on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Threads:
