 Es marzo de 1982. Un grupo de operarios argentinos desembarca en las Georgias del Sur con el objetivo de desmantelar una instalación ballenera en desuso. Una operación comercial con chatarra pero de gran escala. Es la famosa Expedición Davidoff. Los argentinos pisan tierra en Puerto Leith, izan una bandera blanca y celeste, y, según un relato paraoficial, cantan el
himno. Será el chispazo de un incidente diplomático que dará inicio a la Guerra de Malvinas.
