About this listen

Tarsha's story this week was about Anneliese Michel, the real story behind the movie 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose'. Anneliese was just 16 years old when she had her first episode, an episode that had doctors convinced she was epileptic, but Anneliese didn't think that was the case at all. She was convinced that the devil was inside her, and the church agreed. Many attempts to free her from the grips of possession were not enough to save this poor girl as she slowly starved her self to death, claiming that 'she was no longer permitted to eat'. At just 23 years young, this young soul took her last breathe. Find out more about Anneliese's story anywhere you get your podcasts.

In the midst of Corona virus pandemic, Brittany tells of a rather more up beat type of pandemic... or is it? In 1518 Frau Tropher took to the streets and started to dance, at first people thought it was some light hearted fun, but as days went on it became clear that there was more to the story. More people joined and many danced til they could no longer physically dance, others danced to their death. What caused this plague remains a mystery to this day. Find out some of the theories behind this plague by downloading episode 1 anywhere you get your podcasts.
