Причина, по которой Иисус Христос – Бог по Своей Сути – родился в лоне земной женщины, Девы Марии, заключалась в том, что рождение это должно было спасти грешников от их грехов. Иными словами, чтобы спасти всех грешников Сам Бог должен был прийти как Спаситель. Чтобы спасти грешников, необходим был Некто безгрешный, кто смог бы стать жертвой умилостивления за наши грехи (1 Иоанна 2:2), и им стал Иисус Христос, Который является Самим Богом.
