Ruth Barrett is an acknowledged feminist spirituality foremother, ordained Dianic High Priestess, seasoned ritualist, educator, author, and a musician whose numerous recordings beginning in 1980 have been among the pioneering musical works in the U. S. Goddess Spirituality Movement. She is author of Women's Rites, Women's Mysteries: Intuitive Ritual Creation (Expanded 3rd Edition), and has contributed to other anthologies celebrating goddess spirituality including Stepping Into Ourselves: An Anthology of Writings of Priestesses, Elders and Visionaries: Foremothers of the Women’s Spirituality Movement, Female Erasure: What You Need To Know About Gender Politics’ War On Women, the Female Sex and Human Rights, and Women In World Religions: Faith and Culture Across History. Ruth and her life partner Falcon River co-founded the Temple of Diana, Inc. (www.templeofdiana.org). Ruth has taught at conferences and festivals nationally and internationally, and currently teaches online classes on a variety of witchy topics through her Temple of Diana branch, Guardians of the Grove.
