Summary

‘Aurora’, from Foo Fighters’ third album ‘There Is Nothing Left To Lose’, has grown into one of the band’s most emotionally resonant songs.

It was the favourite track of the late Taylor Hawkins, who would have celebrated his 54th birthday next week.

The song also holds deep personal meaning for our latest Storyteller, Mexican fan Cristian Macouzet – so much so that he played a small but decisive role in getting it added to the setlist for Foo Fighters’ 2022 show in Mexico City.

Tragically, it would be the last time Taylor performed ‘Aurora’ live.

In this episode, Cristian recounts the extraordinary chain of events that led to ‘Aurora’ being played that night at Foro Sol.
