 Wir sprechen über die Vision des gemeinnützigen Vereins Neue Mitte Köln e.V., der eine radikale Neugestaltung der Kölner Stadt- und Schieneninfrastruktur anstrebt. Initiiert vom Architekten Paul Böhm, sieht das Konzept vor, den Hauptbahnhof nach Kalk zu verlegen und die Hohenzollernbrücke in eine autofreie „Living Bridge“ zu verwandeln: mit neuen Grünflächen, Wohnraum und mehr Lebensqualität. Das Projekt versteht sich als bottom-up-Initiative mit langfristiger Perspektive und zielt auf eine nachhaltige, vernetzte Stadtentwicklung für Köln.
