About this listen
Sheffield Labour is in "special measures". It has been since the May elections, when former leader Terry Fox and his closest party allies were deposed and replaced with younger, fresh faces in an attempt to shake the legacy and controversy that came with the scandals of the years prior - most notably, the tree scandal and the Lowcock Report.
This swift move by the party's national office in London, gave opponents and critics the chance to question who is in charge in Sheffield. Is it new leader Tom Hunt? Or is London's influence on a city hundreds of miles away stronger than ever?
Two councillors, who resigned from the party along with five others - including Mr Fox - following the series of events since London's intervention, join the Sheffield Scoop for their first real sit down with reporters since they left. We ask them about allegations they were bullied ahead of their decision to defy the party whip on the Local Plan? How are they doing? And, most notably, who is in charge of Sheffield Labour?
We're back - and this is a good one...
