About this listen
Whoa, whoa, whoa! It's been a solid 7 months since we last uploaded, but worry not because we are back. You'll notice in this recording that we say a few different times that it's only been three months since we last released an episode, and that's because we recorded this bad boy way back in October, but life got busy and editing took a long time.
Hey, it happens.
Anyway, if you're still reading this, this episode's all about Havana Syndrome, a strange auditory phenomenon that affects U.S. and Canadian government employees stationed overseas. Those affected reported feeling a weird, pulsing sensation and hearing a mysterious noise before falling ill, most often with nausea, headaches, and other lesser symptoms. In rare instances, however, victims of Havana Syndrome have also reported significant memory loss and cognitive decline.
To make matters worse, no one knows what's causing this or who could possibly be behind it — if anyone is, at all.
As always, thanks to Purple Planet for the music, and be sure to check out our Instagram @TheConspiracyRealists.
