祖父の代に高岡漆器のお盆や皿など伝統工芸を手掛けていた舟木さんの会社ですが、需要減少を背景に、父の代で造作家具やカウンター製作へとシフトしました。現在は大手ハウスメーカー向け棚板の約9割を製造する技術力を持ち、そのノウハウを地元ハウスメーカーや一般家庭向けにも展開しています。主婦から「ホームセンターの棚板はサイズが合わない」という声を受け、1ミリ単位でオーダーできる棚板のネットショップを開設し、リピート客が出るほど好評を得ています。今後は棚板だけでなく、玄関収納などデッドスペースを活かす収納ボックスのオーダーメイド展開も構想中です。AIなど新技術も積極的に取り入れながら、時代に取り残されないものづくりと、顧客の潜在ニーズに応えるサービスを広げてい区展望についてお伺いいたしました。
