È l’uomo che convince Bill a lasciare Harvard per fondare insieme Microsoft, e che dà il nome all’azienda, ma soprattutto quello che trasforma DOS, da primitivo software per personal computer, in sistema operativo per IBM, avviando la fortuna del gruppo.
