About this listen
A kids song about a Paper Airplane.
I made a wonderful plane yesterday,
I threw it hard and watched it fly away.
It did some loops, twists and barrel rolls
As it flew past the soup and salad bowls.
Out through the window, heading toward the trees,
It flew right past a swarm of buzzing bees.
A gust of wind from nearby passing cars
Sent that plane off to someplace high and far.
And while I liked to watch it as it soared,
I wished that I had thought it out some more.
Because instead of paper fresh and new,
My math homework was what I sadly threw.
The teacher didn’t laugh at all the fun,
Even though I showed her that tricks were done
But luckily, before my grade could fall,
The paper plane flew swiftly through the hall.
It sailed right through the door still open wide,
Landing in the teacher's hands; just in time.
