 Sin and sorrow are inseparable companions, born together and growing side by side. Its as misguided to deny the existence of misery as it is to claim there is no wickedness in the world. While some may seem to glide through life with ease, seemingly untouched by trials, they too carry the weight of unseen struggles. Their fortunes in this life may be abundant, but their eternal fate could be dire. The truth remains even the seemingly fortunate experience weariness, and the rest of humanity grapples with visible sorrows. This reality is especially poignant for the righteous, who are reminded that Many are the afflictions of the righteous and that Whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth.
