　　１　清早起來要見掃羅
　　２　撒母耳來到掃羅那裏之後，他們二人之間的談話
　三　掃羅的認罪和懇求
　　１　掃羅承認他的罪，卻推諉於懼怕百姓
　　２　掃羅懇求撒母耳赦免他的罪，同他回去
　　３　撒母耳對掃羅說，耶和華使以色列國與他斷絕
　　４　掃羅懇求撒母耳在他百姓的長老和以色列人面前抬舉他
