今回のゲストは、パラスポーツを中心に撮影しているスポーツカメラマン・吉村（よしむら）もとさんです。
1980年生まれ、大阪市出身の44歳。自由学園最高学部を卒業後、ロンドンで写真を1年半学び帰国。アルバイトをしながら写真家への道を歩みました。2004年、アテネパラリンピックの撮影に関わったのをきっかけに20年以上にわたってパラスポーツの国際大会を撮影。パラリンピックは、アテネ大会から今年のパリ大会まで、夏冬合わせて11大会を現地で撮影しました。今年5月に神戸市で行われた世界パラ陸上では、公式カメラマンも務めるなど、さまざまなパラアスリートたちの写真を手掛けています。パラスポーツとの出逢い、最初にパラリンピックを撮影した2004年・アテネ大会でのエピソードと衝撃を受けた競技、これまで撮影したパラリンピック・国際大会でカメラマンの視点から見た印象に残るシーンと、撮影の際の苦労、被写体としてのパラアスリートの魅力など、吉村さんにいろいろとお話を伺いました。
