 エジプト神話は、キリスト教とイスラム教が広まるよりももっと前に、古代エジプトの人々によって信仰されてきた神々の体系、宗教を指します。
エジプト神話は神々に寛容だった古代王朝の繁栄した約3000年の間、国の変遷と共に変化を遂げたと言われています。その中にはラー、オシリス、イシス、セットといった個性的な神々の、壮大で波瀾万丈な物語があるのです。
本作はすべて子供向けのわかりやすい内容に書き直され、お父さんお母さんも、子どもと一緒に楽しめる内容になっています。
