最後の1篇、柳田國男が書き残した、遠野の「獅子踊り」の歌です。
現在も保存活動が続けられており、県の内外で発信があります。こうした神事で、はっきりと継承が続いているものは貴重なのではないでしょうか。
私も聞いたことがないため、本当に淡々と読み上げただけのものになります。意味理解ができたときに、また再収録したいと考えています。
以上が、1910年に刊行された『遠野物語』をたどる旅の終着点となります。
今後、増補版にあたる『拾遺』についても同様の試みはしてみたいと考えており、その際にはまたこのチャンネルを再始動するつもりですが……いったんは、本編にて完結とします。お付き合いいただき、本当に本当にありがとうございました。
