 कुंभकर्ण के रणभूमि में धराशायी होने के बाद रावण ने अपने पुत्रों अतिकाया, त्रिषिरा, देवांतक और नरांतक को अपने भाइयों महोदर और महापार्श्व के साथ वानर सेना से युद्ध करने के लिए भेजा। एक श्वेत अश्व पर सवार नरांतक ने अपने भाले से वानर सेना में हाहाकार मचा दिया। यह देखकर सुग्रीव ने अंगद को नरांतक का सामना करने के लिए भेजा। अंगद ने नरांतक के सामने आकर उसे युद्ध के लिए ललकारा। नरांतक ने क्रोधित होकर अपने भाले से अंगद की छाती पर प्रहार किया। अंगद की वज्र के समान छाती से टकराकर नरांतक का भाला टूट गया। उसके बाद अंगद ने अपने हाथों से नरांतक के घोड़े पर जोर से प्रहार कर उसे धराशायी कर दिया। नरांतक ने अपनी मुष्टिका से अंगद के सर पर जोर से प्रहार किया जिससे उनके मस्तक से रक्त प्रवाह होने लगा। उसके बाद महाबली अंगद ने अपनी पूरी शक्ति से नरांतक के वक्षस्थल पर मुष्टिका से प्रहार कर उसे यमलोक भेज दिया। Learn more about your ad choices.
