کس با ت سے پِھرنا ہے ؟ بتوں کی پوجا سے اور گناہ سے بھری زند گی کے دوسرے تمام بُرے اعمال سے ۔پس ہمیں کیا کر نا ہے ؟ ہمیں پا ک ہو نے کے لیے یسو عؔ پر ایمان لا کربپتسمہ لینا ہے ۔یو حناؔ اصطباغی بیابان میں چلایا،’’ مجھ سے بپتسمہ لو ۔اپنے گناہوں سے دُھل جاوٴ۔ نجات دہندہ ،تمہارا مسیحا اِس دُنیا میں آرہا ہے ۔وہ پُرانے عہد نامہ کے قربانی کے مینڈھے کی طرح تمہارے گنا ہو ں کو اُٹھالے گا اور تمہارے تمام گنا ہو ں کودھو ڈالے گا‘‘
