کم و بیش همهی ما تحت تأثیر این جابهجایی اطلاعات قرار میگیریم و قبول داریم که در عصر انفجار اطلاعات زندگی میکنیم. همین موضوع در ظاهر هم باعث شده که این طور به نظر برسد که اطلاعات عمومی و آگاهی و دانایی بیشتری در مقایسه با نسلهای پیشین داریم و به این دلیل که در حال شنا کردن در اقیانوسی از اطلاعات هستیم، شاید این سوءتفاهم برای بسیاری از ما به وجود آید که آگاهی زیادی از جهان اطراف خودمان و اتفاقات پیرامون داریم؛ اما آیا واقعا این طور است؟
