در این پادکست دو قسمتی که برگرفته از سخنرانی حسین رئیسی، وکیل حقوق بشر، در مرکز فرهنگی و هنری ایرانیان در دانشگاه تیندال (Tyndale) تورنتو، در تاریخ ۷ اکتبر ۲۰۲۴ است، نقش و اهمیت حقوق بشر در جوامع امروزی بررسی میشود. حقوق بشر نهتنها به عنوان یک سیستم قانونی، بلکه به عنوان یک فرهنگ و رویکرد اجتماعی، در تلاش برای دفاع از کرامت انسانی، آزادیها و عدالت است. امروزه با چالشهایی از قبیل تبعیض، خشونت، و محدودیتهای شدید حقوقی و اجتماعی روبهرو هستیم که اغلب بهطور سیستماتیک از سوی نظامهای قدرت تحمیل میشوند. در این زمینه، حقوق بشر میخواهد صدایی باشد برای کسانی که در برابر نابرابری و سرکوب ایستادگی میکنند.
