فریده فریاد پژوهشگر حوزه زنان و ادبیات عامیانه است. او تاکنون سه اثر منتشر کرده که شامل «عشقاندوه زن»، «تحلیل دوبیتیهای هزارگی از نظر سیاست جنسی و جامعهشناسی جنسیت» و «کلکسیون اندوه» به زبان فرانسوی میباشد. همچنین کتابی در زمینه آموزش دستور زبان فارسی از او منتشر شده است.
علاوه بر این آثار، مقالاتی نیز در حوزهی جنسیت، ادبیات و زبان نوشته و منتشر کرده است.
او هماکنون دانشجوی مقطع دکتری در رشته زبان و ادبیات فارسی در دانشگاه گیلان ایران است و در کشور فرانسه زندگی میکند
