Nombres como Rembrandt, Vermeer, Poussin, etc, aparecen en el mundo por las mismas fechas, es decir, son hombres de la misma generación. La generación de 1600 es una de las primeras generaciones de la Europa moderna, que es casi como decir de la Europa barroca.
