Every few words have a strong emphasis and tone used. This is very difficult to listen to and does not flow smoothly.

Not a great book stand alone, but good to flesh out the backstory if you’re reading the ZA series

A nice backstory

The story is alright—not the most exciting or interesting in the series—but the audio narrators performance of the different voices was so distracted. He made a 14 year old sound like a 50 year old pack-a-day smoker, though Darius’s voice is never described as anything remotely like that. Especially at 14!
As always with the twister sisters, the book needs so serious editing. Otherwise it’s alright.

This was a hard listen. Agree with the comment below, why did he make Darius sound like a 50 year old chain smoker ! Did not fit the character at all. Story ok and good to get some background on Lance and Orian

Have honestly never heard such a terrible narrator, it's like he was reading off a script where every 2nd or 3rd word was all CAPS. it was very hard to listen to

I was super excited to listen to this cause its been on my TBR list for awhile but I couldn’t even finish it cause the voice narrating Darius is so awful!
