Richtig kam ein Mädchen her, das schöne Äpfel feilbot. „Schätzle, komm doch her, ich will auch welche kaufen!“, schrie der Schuster, langte nach dem Korbe, wühlte alles durcheinander, zahlte für drei wunderschöne Äpfel einen Kreuzer und entließ das Mädchen mit den Worten: „Schätzle, jetzt kannst weitergehen.“ Die drei wunderschönen Äpfel legte unser Schuster in das Fenster, um mit ihnen Staat zu machen und sich an dem Anblick zu ergötzen.
