Mythological Love Story
To be lost in a world of terror and magic, surrounded by mythological creatures and a love story as old as time.
Great story, very suspenseful and definitely left me wanting to go straight to the next book in the series.

Great narration
I like listening to an audiobook after I’ve read the actual book first. Unlike some I love Jennifer Ikeda’s narration. She did a great job on the All Souls Triology. Wish she’d also done Throne of glass. I find that a lot of other narrators of fantasy fiction read like it’s a play or pantomime - they give evil characters an evil voice. Or they make Characters announce or perform their lines instead of feeling like you’re listening to action unfold.

I cannot fault SJ MAAS
But I really do not like this narrator. Sarah j maas was born to write these books. I have read, and listened to all her books minimum 5 times each always picking up something I'd missed previously never getting bored. very few writers/books I can say that about.

Good fantasy, bad narration
I love Sarah J.Maas’s books but after reading her throne of glass series (a fantastic must read), I’m slightly disappointed.
The narration was so robotic!

Wonderful
Was the longest audible book I've listened to but it didn't feel like it. Riviting, emotional, spellbinding. A must hear!

Narrative could be better
Love the story but sorry to say I didn’t really enjoy the narration, she put on a old sounding voice and also I felt it made the main character sounds overly prickly and boring which I don’t think would have been the case if I had read it myself.

Beauty and the Beast retelling
I thought from the first chapters I would hate it. I had so many issues with the main character. But it was worth it for the final acts. Nice simple plot.

Slow burn for the first half
Action and adventure in the 2nd half saved it. Terrible slow narration, use 1.2 speed
