Talkin' Loud and Sayin' Nothing

Like a magazine article or blog written to an urgent deadline when the author doesn’t really know what to write about, and then in this case bizarrely extended to the length of a book. Meandering, artless mediocrity that makes me embarrassed for the author. Easily the worst book about Bob Dylan I’ve ever read, and I’ve read many, and a definite challenger for one of the worst books ever written on any subject. I am completely and utterly baffled as to why someone would choose to write a book when they had nothing to say on the subject, seemingly undertaking no research in the process, beyond perhaps reading the Wikipedia page on ‘Hibbing, Minnesota’ for one chapter. Avoid this incredibly frustrating waste of time and money.

Don't Bother

I can't believe I finished this book. It started badly and got progressively worse. The idea to write a book and have it published in time for Bobs 80th birthday was the only idea the author had. Just another attempt to cash in Bob. I give it 1 star because there is no option to give a lower rating.
