ها أنتم تقولون أن الأمر انتهى أخيراً واتراح عزيز نيسين. لكنكم مخطئون. فههذه المرة راح القراء يسألون في المكتبات عن رواية "يشار لا هو بالحي ولا بالميت" في حين أنه لا وجود لرواية بهذا العنوان. كانت مجرد تمثيلية تمّ إعدادها استناداً إلى قصص موزعة بين خمسة كتب أو ستة. لم يشأ نيسين أن يكتب رواية تستمد مادتها من قصص سبق له نشرها. لكن رغبة القراء وضغوط المحيط غلبته.

جلس وفكر في الموضوع، فرأى أن تلك القصص تكتسب بعداً جديداً باجتماعها معاً، فقرّر كتابة "يشار لا هو بالحي ولا بالميت" كرواية هذه المرة.

لا أعرف متى تنجز هذه الرواية، ومتى تستطيعون قراءتها-لكنني أعرف-إذا كنت أعرف. شيئاً قط-أنه مثلما فاقت شهرة دون كيشوت كتابه سرفانتس الذي كاد يختفي في ظل بطله، كذلك فاقت شهرتي-أنا المدعو يشار يشامز-شهرة عزيز نيسين، كما يبدو لي.

وها هي الرواية بين أيديكم...
